Search Engine Optimization

Make sure you show up in the right searches

Are you sure the people who are looking for your products can find them? SEO and Internet Marketing is an ever-changing art. The search engines constantly change their algorithms for determining page ranking. With our SEO plan, specialists keep track of the latest information and apply it to give your site the attention it deserves.

We research the keywords relevant to your website to determine how many daily searches are performed for each term or variation of a term. We make sure the most important search terms show up in your pages, in the places that count most. We also make sure there are no “red flags” that can penalize your search engine rankings. Your site is analyzed for more than 100 factors, including keyword frequency, prominence, weight in different areas of the page and more.

SEO isn’t Plug and Play

SEO takes time. Search Engines don’t just randomly decide which website gets the top rankings; they are looking for indications that a website is truly providing the best possible experience for users. Building quality content and backlinks is key.

SEO involves a lot of factors and takes a lot of time. Spend your time running your business, and let us handle the search engines..

Important factors for SEO

1. On-page optimization is key:

  • Use informative headers to break up long text.
  • Use internal links when it makes sense, but don’t overdo them. The anchor text for links should include keywords, but only in a natural way – don’t force it!
  • URLs should include keywords and exclude unnecessary words like “and” and “the.”
  • Write for the audience, not just for the search engines. Make sure your content actually conveys meaning and provides value.

2. Your website needs to be mobile-friendly:

Google announced a policy of ranking mobile-friendly sites higher than those that are not back in 2015. Websites that are hard to use on a mobile phone – text too small to read, links too small to click, flash videos that don’t play on a smart phone – can get lower rankings or show a warning in mobile search results.

Use HTTPS:

Google started using SSL as a factor in ranking in 2014. SSL stands for Secure Sockets Layer; what this means is that data sent through the website is encrypted to protect against other people, especially on shared networks, picking up passwords, credit card numbers and other sensitive information. Google wants to encourage all website owners to switch from HTTP to HTTPS, so the search engine has increased the importance of SSL as a ranking factor and many browsers now mark non-HTTPS sites as insecure.

Make sure your pages load quickly:

In July 2018 Google announced that mobile page loading time would be a ranking factor. Desktop loading time has already been a factor for years. A slow page speed also means that search engines can’t crawl as many pages, which could negatively affect your indexation.
